Lunch Time is a further opportunity to expose the children to a language unrelated to the weekly topic but which is repeated every day. This repetition of the language within the context facilitates its assimilation and promotes its use.
The team of camp leaders prepares and performs a short play related to the weekly topic. One part is performed each day until the ending arrives. The students play an active role in the performance as the audience.
Every week we go on a thematic day trip allowing us to leave the “set” and enter into “real” contact with our adventure. We go to the beach, to the zoo, to a yoghurt factory, to the airport...
When they're older all these experiences are sure to form part of their summer memories.
